News - UHasselt Spin-off with the king to Estonia

Together with king Albert and queen Paola, Commart International will leave today for a state visit in Estonia for 2 days. The spin-off from University Hasselt is part of a delegation of 8 Belgian companies. CommArt brings means of communication on the market that are developed in the Centre for Applied Linguistics.

“One of the spearheads of our research is the measurement of the intercultural communication problems and –needs of foreign speakers”, says professor Martine Verjans. This way, CommaArt, next to the foreign language, also teaches you to deal with the cultural difference of foreign business relationships. The spin-off was the only company in Limburg that was invited.
