The “Plurilingua TM”-modules were devised as e-learning packages for self-study. The learner gets a global overview of the subject treated by one simple click, e.g. a grammatical overview, a map, an inventory of all possible expressions to articulate nuances, a list of possible formulas, an overview of activity-related terms etc. For the real training component (oral language production in its different forms like negotiations, telephone conversations, business presentations, dinner conversations… and direct feedback) a human coach is of course indispensable.
The didactic explanation (available in both oral and written form) given when opening the module serves as a guideline through the vast supply of information and materials.
The flexibility of the “Plurilingua TM”-modules offers each learner the opportunity to follow the learning path which befits his/ her disposition. In a school situation, however, a linear progress is most expedient according to the devised learner’s progress. A deductive learner will still be able to start from the theory on the reference page and then move to the exercises, whereas an inductive learner will infer the theory from the examples. Each individual learner enjoys the freedom to follow his/ her chosen path. This flexibility allows for the selection of particular topics with a view to satisfying temporary needs (e.g. in case of repetition).
“Plurilingua TM” can be supplied for an individual PC as well as in network version. The modules can also be made available through the school’s personal LMS.
