CommArt in Noordwijkerhout (NL) on February 4 th and 5 th 2011
CommArt International has been invited by the section “French” of the Dutch Association “Levende Talen” (“Living Languages”). On February 4 th and 5 th 2011, the association organizes its bi-annual national congress in Noordwijkerhout, where traditionally some 500 French and Dutch teachers and lecturers will be present.
CommArt will present the series “Lingu@com™”, i.e. foreign languages and cultures for beginners, and more specifically the module Dutch-French. The Lingu@com™ packages were developed by using the Lingu@Tor™ software. They are multimedial and are conceived for semi autonomous learning. They make use of the most recent technologies, such as text-to-speech, which is a big advantage for people suffering from dyslexia. They also offer screen magnification for users with visual impairments. Moreover, they are equipped with a virtual keyboard for less common characters in some languages, such as Slovakian, Rumanian and Turkish, which are also available in the Lingu@com™ series as target language.
